The Titanic

It seems this subject has made quite a splash on the conspiracy front & at the movies in recent years so I'd like to see what connection we can make with the sinking of this ship & the Mystery Schools.

'Plutarch translates the name Isis to mean wisdom. Godfrey Higgins, in his Anacalypsis, derives the name of Isis from the Hebrew ישע, Iso, & the Greek ζωω, to save. Some authorities, however, for example, Richard Payne Knight (as stated in his Symbolical Language of Ancient Art & Mythology), believe the word to be of Northern extraction, possibly Scandinavian or Gothic. In these languages the name is pronounced Isa, meaning ice, or water in its most passive, crystallized, negative state.'

The Titanic of course was named after the Greek primordial deities that preceded the Olympian deities. According to Manly Hall, they represented the primordial 'chaotic forces of nature', as opposed to the 'orderly' Olympian forces who destroyed & replaced them. Bill Cooper in his Mystery Babylon series emphasised greatly the processes involved in resurrecting Osiris, reading from Hall's 'Freemasonry Of The Ancient Egyptians' he states, 'The body of Osiris, the Secret Doctrine, is divided into 14 parts & divided among the parts of the world. We must therefore understand that it was scattered through the 7 divine & 7 infernal spheres, the lokas & talas of India, or by different symbolism, through the 7 worlds which are without & the 7 worlds which are within. Bacchus [Dionysius] was torn into 7 pieces by the Titans & Osiris into 14 pieces. To use the words of Faber, “Both these stories are in substance the same, for the second number is merely the reduplicate of the first. By a variation of much the same nature, the ancient mythologists added 7 Titanides & 7 Cabiri to the 7 Titans.' 

The new 'Aeon Of Horus' was announced by Aleister Crowley in 1904, 1 + 9 + 4 = 14, again the 7/7. Osiris was murdered by his brother Typhon (Set) & Typhon in Greek Mythology (the same deity based on the Egyptian) was the leader of the Titans who murdered Dionysius, referring once again to Hall, 'Ambition, however, personified by Typhon, knowing that temporal power must die if divine power, in the form of truth, be reestablished, put forth all its power again to scatter the doctrine, this time so thoroughly that it should never be rediscovered. If Typhon, as Plutarch has suggested, in one of his manifestations represents the sea, then it appears that this
second destruction of Osiris may refer to the Atlantean deluge' (ibid). Isis is the secret symbol of Atlantis.


'Isis, by thus modelling & reproducing the missing member of Osiris, gives the body of the god the appearance of completeness, but the life power is not there. Isis, the priesthood, with their initiatory process, had accomplished all that could be accomplished by natural philosophy. Therefore recourse is again had to magic. The golden phallus is rendered alive by the secret processes rescued from the lost Book of Thoth [see my Magnificent 7 blog]. Thus the divine power of Osiris is restored through the regeneration of the man himself & the processes of initiation. In the Greek system man was rendered divine because his composition contained the blood of Bacchus, & in Egypt, because it contained the seminal power of Osiris. The institutions raised in the world to perpetuate the deeper truths of life labored on through the centuries seeking for the lost key (the living Crux Ansata) which, if rediscovered, would enliven & impregnate the whole world & restore the good king Osiris to the throne left empty by his cruel death. The purpose of the Isiac Rite, is therefore, revealed as twofold. The first motive was the almost hopeless effort made by the bereaved Isis to restore her husband to life. She hovers above his corpse in the form of a bird, trying to restore his breath by the fluttering of her own wings. The ceremony is concealed in the Book of the Respirations. The causing of Osiris to breathe again is the great abstract ideal. The second & more imminent motive which actuated Isis was to avenge herself upon Typhon & destroy his power over world.' (ibid)

Cooper always taught that Isis, the priesthood of the Mysteries, the philosophers of fire were bent on the destruction of the practitioners of the waters of faith (Typhon/Christianity) & the teachings of people like Manly Hall have borne that out to be true.

The Royal Mail Steamer Titanic was the product of intense competition among rival shipping lines in the first half of the 20th century. In particular, the White Star Line found itself in a battle for steamship primacy with Cunard, a venerable British firm with two standout ships that ranked among the most sophisticated & luxurious of their time. Cunard’s Mauretania began service in 1907 & immediately set a speed record for the fastest transatlantic crossing that it held for 22 years. Cunard’s other masterpiece, Lusitania, launched the same year & was lauded for its spectacular interiors. It met its tragic end–& entered the annals of world history–on May 7, 1915, when a torpedo fired by a German U-boat sunk the ship, killing nearly 1,200 of the 1,959 people on board & precipitating the United States’ entry into World War I.'

Aleister Crowley travelled to America aboard the Lusitania  in 1914 where he stayed for the duration of the war, his mistress followed a year later aboard the same ship, whereupon it was subsequently sunk on it's return voyage to Britain a week later. British Intelligence Officer Crowley incidentally is on record as claiming the credit for America's entry into WW1.

It seems logical to me that in order to initiate the new 'Aeon Of Horus', a ritual must take place, & with these people you can bet that the ceremony would have involved a sacrifice. How could it be that the circumstances in which the Titanic sank can be easily interpreted as a symbolic destruction of Typhon by Isis? Titanic's sister ship the Olympic (the ship theorists believe was switched with Titanic) was involved in a collision with a boat named the 'SS Hawke' (configured 'Horus' obviously) in 1911, the portentous year both ships were launched. There were 2,200+ people & only space for 1,100+ on the Titanic's lifeboats (see Rik Clay's 11 - 11 theory), & the company that owned these ships was called 'White Star'. But what cracks me up most with these disasters is Hollywoods ever-readiness to bleed a situation in which there was a terrible loss of life for all it's got. The 1997 film 'Titanic was the first film to hit the billion $ mark in profits & it just so happens that the films leading characters are called.....Jack (the sun, Osiris), & Rose (pentagram, Rose Cross).
