  'This is not the 1st time the British, French & Russians have carved Syria & Iraq up; 'Sykes-Picot Agreement, also called Asia Minor Agreement, (May 1916), secret convention made during World War I between Great Britain & France, with the assent of imperial Russia, for the dismemberment of the Ottoman Empire. The inexplicable events now occurring in the world, especially in the Middle East should be ample evidence for most that this is indeed the case. As news of more US-led 'Coalition' air-strikes on Syria is brought to us day by day, week by week, some of us are thinking this really could be the start of something big. Well if it is, it's not as if we haven't been pre-conditioned all our lives to expect something MIGHT happen, & that it MAY occur around the area of northern Israel. Here in the UK, the headlines have been dominated the past few weeks by this story; 'Sergei Skripal is a retired Russian military intelligence colonel who was sentenced in 2006 to 13 years in prison, accused of spying for Britain. He was convicted, & later pardoned, for passing the identities of Russian secret agents in Europe to the UK's Secret Intelligence Service (MI6). Russia claimed MI6 had paid him $100,000 for the information, which he had been supplying since the 1990s. But he was one of four prisoners Moscow swapped for spies in the US in 2010. Col Skripal was later flown to the UK. He is now 66. He was found on 4 March slumped on a shopping centre bench in Salisbury, alongside his unconscious 33-year-old daughter Yulia Skripal.' - BBC (29 March 2018). The 66 & 33yr old were said to have been poisoned by Russian spooks with a deadly chemical but survived, now we have another 'chemical' crisis in Syria, one may even call it an 'Al-chemical' crisis, because it is. I've recently received a series of fairly well known set of books entitled, 'The Bible Code I, II & III' by American journalist Michael Drosnin. In them he claims an Israeli mathematician has found a code in the Bible (particularly Genesis) that predicts future events. In book I, written in 1997 he writes; 'But near Megiddo, hidden to tourists, is one of Israel's most important Air Force bases, Ramat Davi. It is in the north, facing Israels implacable foe Syria. It would be on the front lines of any war in the modern Middle East. 'Armageddon' is encoded in the Bible with the name of Syria's leader, Hafez Asad. In fact, the name of the long prophesied Final Battle appears with his name in a single skip sequence: Armageddon, Asad holocaust.' 'Syria' is encoded with 'World War.' It is the country that stands out, because it is not expected. 'Russia' & 'China' & 'USA' all also appear with 'World War'. But they are the three superpowers most likely to be involved. Interestingly, 'Syria' is only mentioned fleetingly a couple more times in the book & 'Asad' only in this instance, neither are mentioned in the two sequels. Drosnin said he happened upon the code whilst in Israel in 1992, he was told of a man there called Eli Rips, a quantum physicist who'd came across a peculiar pattern in Genesis, whereby if one selects a Hebrew letter, then skip fifty, then another fifty & so on, it would spell out a message, usually pertaining to a well known name or event or both in the future, such as the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin in 1995. That's weird, because the Bible as we know it was originally compiled in Greek. Anyway, after reading the Rabin assassination plot in 1994, Drosnin tried to contact the Israeli PM about it but was evidently unsuccessful, however this did confirm the codes authenticity so Drosnin had the code verified by scholars, including some at Harvard & Yale no less, he also went to friends at the Pentagon who gave it their stamp of approval & thus the first book was published in 1997....yep, thats where I'd go if I came across a sensational Bible prophecy code, straight to a military institution with an apocalyptic track record in the Middle East. If you believe they put a man on the moon then the 'Bible Code' series of books will fascinate you, I however suspect these books are around for another reason, because Michael Drosnin says in his book that the reason for his first trip to Israel in 1992 was; '...to meet with the chief of Israeli Intelligence about the future of warfare.' A year before the Bible Code was published, former US Assistant Secretary of Defense for Global Strategic Affairs Richard Perle had stated; 'Israel can shape its strategic environment, in cooperation with Turkey & Jordan, by weakening, containing, & even rolling back Syria. This effort can focus on removing Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq — an important Israeli strategic objective in its own right — as a means of foiling Syria’s regional ambitions.' Quoting again from Drosdin; 'The original version in Ezekiel 38:15 clearly predicts that Israel will be invaded from the north. 'Syria' is encoded with that verse'. Israel has been relatively silent over the last 4yrs regarding the Syrian Conflict has it not? The scene marking the 70th anniversary of the creation of the State of Israel on the Palestinian border is another story; 'Jadallah is among 1,297 Palestinians shot & wounded by Israeli soldiers, including snipers, during the past two weeks of mass protests on the Gaza-Israel border, according to a computerized count by the Gaza Health Ministry.
