In his 2021 series of 3-lectures on Sir Francis Bacon & The Rosicrucians, Peter Dawkins, founder of the Francis Bacon Society stated that Samuel Johnson referred to the
Fraternity Of The Rose Cross (Rosicrucians) as;
'The men on the moon'.

During the late 16th-early 17th Cen's, a contrived, or even syndicated series of novels emerged in Europe all portraying an idealistic future state in which peace, security, opportunity etc preveiled. The new form of Pol-iterature were referred to as;
Utopian, after Thomas More's 1516 work; Utopia. I'm not sure whether we ever got the idealised-state they were referring to because by the 20th Cen novelists began saturating the market with Dystopian works, generally in the form of Science Fiction. 
Nevertheless, it was imagined in one of these works that this dream of a New Jerusalem was actually to be America. The plot so to speak was delineated in Francis Bacon's; 'New Atlantis'​ (1626)
in which he refers to the project as; 'Solomon's House', as in the Biblical Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem.
​Perhaps it will be some day & they're absolutely sure they can't be challenged on this point that the whole world will be under same perfected human society in the not-too-distant future.

Suffice to say the books emanated from the Secret Societies who refer to their re-emergence from under the yoke of
Throne & Altar as;
The Renaissance (Rebirth-Initiation), shortly followed by the
Reformation (Transformation-Alchemy) & Enlightenment (Illumination). What we'd like to address here however was a random theme which attached itself to these
Utopia's on occasion....the moon.
​Cults of the moon go back to the dawn of time, from Manly Hall's Freemasonry Of The Ancient Egyptians (1937) we read;
'Over the entrance to the tomb of Tutankhamen was a magical tablet inscribed with strange hieroglyphics. It was during Apollo 11 astronauts supposedly landed on the moon, I don't think they did that day in July 1969, however I do believe that mission to the moon did land there, probably initially manned by Armstrong et al but controlled remotely once it became impossible for humans to travel beyond our atmosphere

A chief aim of Alchemy is to create the
Hermetic Marriage within human nature,
that is a state of equilibrium between the male (sun/strength/courage) & female (moon/beauty/affection) aspects within each of us

men in the moon were allegories for this process now happening without & within us. Apollo is the sun of course, the command module for Apollo 11 was Columbia, which means 'Dove' (see inset), the lunar module was named; Eagle, another term for the sun in the Mysteries & so on....​Columbia is the personification of the U.S. in goddess form,
she is equated with Britannia (unsurprisingly) who is derived 
​from Athena who in turn is the Greek form of Isis. The ISS or International Space Station....

I presume the psycho-drama of placing the Apollo programme on the moon was an elaborate presentation of the Alchemical process,
​as were the Masque dramas of the Reformation, Shakespeare plays,
Hollywood's witchcraft & the rest of it but it needs to be objectified at various stages for the magic to take hold, as was the case with 
911 & Hiroshima. People are being programmed to think with a collective consciousness, this is done by using archetypical images, such as the phallus (rocket)
supplemented by myth (novels/fiction etc);

Sol-Om-On is also the sun in Latin, Sanskrit & Egyptian & as we've tried to convey down the years we're being brought through a series of initiations in correspondence with the cards of the Tarot deck & the Qabbalistic Tree Of Life as they represent similar initiatory paths of human development, thus you may or may not be surprised to learn that card 19 in the Trump deck
of the Tarot is.....The Sun;

Incidentally, one, if not the inspiration for the Swinging 60's wrote a groundbreaking Thriller-type of novel, again from Wikipedia;

'A year or so before the beginning of World War I, a young woman named Lisa la Giuffria is seduced by a white magician, Cyril Grey, & persuaded into helping him in a magical battle with a black magician & his black lodge. Grey is attempting to save and improve the human race & condition by impregnating the girl with the soul of an ethereal being — the moonchild. Crowley's protege Jack Parsons took up the theme in Babalon (1946) wherein he had the child become more compatible to life in outer space as that's where we're all heading eventually according to Crowllian teachings....
(Space being a metaphor for consciousness sometimes so perhaps
that's what they're talking about. Babalon, is the Scarlet Harlot of the Book Of Revelation & another type of the goddess Isis)

Atlantis is their metaphor for the lost Golden Age we departed from when we fell from grace in the Garden Of Eden, to which incidentally we will shortly return....Meanwhile America was Napalming Vietnam, Laos & Cambodia back to the Stone Age. & all that was just what was happening (the procedures of the initiation in the Mysteries) at the time of the supposed Moon Landings, since then we've flattened the Middle East....

Yes, the Industrial Revolution was when Britain seriously began steam-rolling over every nations populace including its own. An Empire has to have an epicentre & that epicentre was London which became the centre of world commerce it is today owing to the profits coming in from all the slave labour in Africa, Asia & especially the Americas.
