I mention on the About page that I believed the key to understanding Bill Cooper lay in his religious or spiritual conviction. To emphasise this point I'd like you to consider the amount of time & energy the Mystery Schools have devoted down the centuries to the destruction of the God of the Bible & it's attendant religions. Anton Lavey cracks the joke in the Satanic Bible that Christianity would have had nothing going for it had it not had been for poor old stooge Satan (Scape-Goat....Fall-Guy?). Indeed, however I put it to the Satanist, from whence did you lot get your idea of Satan from anyway? No answer necessary. He was just a bit part player in the Old Testament & only came to the fore in the last book of the New (Revelations), which, if Bill & Manly Hall are to be believed, was written by the Gnostics anyhow & yes we know who the ruler of this world is.
What is it about the Bible that these people wish to have power over? Is it because it's caused them so much trouble over the millennia's that it has to be taken from public view in case any more prophets like Bill pop up & blow the lid on their little racket? Probably yes, but it also conveys the message that faith will conquer all, in fact what prompted me write this blog was a discussion on my 'Cooper - Pentagram' video about Rik Clay's belief in a 'mind before matter' universe, a concept he got from esotericist Jonathan Black, i.e. from the Mystery Schools.
It's not only Satanism that owes it's existence to the Bible though, where would the Rosicrucians be without the Christ? Or the Freemasons without the Solomons Temple/Hiram Abiff myth of the Jews? This being the case, it's logical to suspect that the Bible does actually contain powerful, esoteric knowledge that can be tapped into & used by those able to decipher it's enigmas. Let's face it, many swear by it, many treat it as gospel & many have viewed it as a spiritual guide to life, claiming that to disobey it's instructions will result in great suffering, or conversely, to simply obey it's commands or 'live by the book', brings upon one great, even eternal reward........Bill was such a person.
Alan Watts said that to know the true name of something (as in scientific study) or someone is to wield great power over it/them & this was quest of the ancient Magi, the Qabbalists etc, 'In the beginning was the Word'. Whatever power the Bible holds, Bill took great solace from it's pages & it's his claim to be a messenger of God I'd like to draw peoples attention to in particular. So without mincing my my words any further, I'd like to suggest that the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jesus had a guiding hand in the life of Bill Cooper & I'd like to provide a few illustrations to back that contention up. Without going into it in a dogmatic sense either, what I wish to put across here is the power of FAITH. Apart from Will it has other equivalents in the Mysteries as well including 'Thought, Desire, Action', which is used as a kind of formula by them but to Christians, Jews, Muslims etc it's simply a manifestation of the spiritual life, based on a belief in God, i.e., if we're doing the right thing God will provide for us & I'd like to use as an example incidents in Bill's life where he was indeed provided for because he was continuously putting his life on the line to help others.
In Behold A Pale Horse, Bill writes; 'I believe with all my heart that God put me in places & in positions throughout my life so that I would be able to deliver this warning to His people.' My understanding of 'His people' would be anyone who lived their life in the light of truth. (To some all this may seem absurd but to me it vindicates Coopers claims of messenger & is one of the reasons he's so frequently attacked in my opinion).
If asked to name famous terrorist events in the US during the period Bill was on the air between 1992 & 2001, I think what would spring to most peoples mind would be (in chronological order); the 1st World Trade Centre Bombing in Feb 1993, the Waco Siege Feb-April 1993, the Oklahoma City Bombing in 1995, the Columbine Shootings of 1999 & the events of Sept 11th 2001.
If we take our list in chronological order & bear in mind Bill's claim in BAPH that God had put him in places all his life to warn His people etc, then the first of these is the World Trade Centre bombing in 1993. Bill was the first person in history to my knowledge that documented the history/descent of the Mystery Schools in one comprehensive, coherent series/package........his 'Mystery Babylon' series. By late Feb 1993 he'd reached the phase of the 'Assassins', a Medieval, Middle Eastern branch of the Mysteries (not Islam) famous for political 'assassination' (derived from Assassin) but also for the way it's Initiates were drugged & brainwashed into obeying the murderous commands of the 'Chiefs'. This Mystical group, Bill warned had operated behind the banner of Islam so as not to betray it's real aims which was, as it is in all branches of the Mysteries, the eventual conquest of the world & he proved that they were still around & a threat today. They practice[d] Communism etc, however, it was betwixt his back to back shows on the Assassins that New York was bombed & Islamic terrorists were blamed & eventually convicted. Political assassination aside (i.e. Sirhan Sirhan), I think this was the first such incident where people from the Middle East were implicated in terrorism on US soil. Bill had warned for years that New York would be hit & he even wrote about it in his book & in the middle of his two broadcasts on that very subject, the worlds attention was suddenly shifted towards a new phase of Islamic terrorism, ........but was it wasn't really Muslims carrying out these attacks in the name of Allah.
So we have (in American numeration);
Dylan Klebold born on 9 11
The Columbine shootings began at 11.19
Timothy McVeigh executed on 6 11
New York/Washington attacked on 9 11
Bill murdered on 11 6 .... Supposed to have been murdered on 9 11
'If 6 turned out to be 9' - Jimi Hendrix
I can only assume they use this system of mathemagical numerology as formulae to harness the forces of nature as in Alchemy for e.g, because it does permeate the Great Work extensively. (See my Quotes page numerology/Rik Clay section)
Bill's book is named after the passage depicting the pale horse in the Book Of Revelations......'& I looked, & behold a pale horse: & his name that sat on him was Death, & Hell followed with him.' - King James Version.
'ABADDON. A Hebrew word ab-ad-done, signifying destruction. By the Rabbis it is interpreted as the place of destruction, & is the second of the 7 names given by them to the region of the dead. In the Apocalypse (Revelation ix) it is rendered by the Greek word Apollyon, & means the destroyer. In this sense it is used as a significant word in the high degrees.' - Mackey's Encyclopaedia Of Freemasonry
The passage of The Book Of Revelations Mackey is referring to is 9: 11.
'I have found the New Age Movement & it's underlying all-pervasive occultism to be a near perfect mirror image of Biblical history & prophecy, & as such it is a mass movement in which everything the Bible foretells as a negative, the movement claims as a positive, & conversely, everything the Bible gives as a positive, is claimed to be a negative by movement adherence.' - Constance Cumbey.
Negation is a precept of the Mysteries/The New Age Movement, especially of the Bible.
(See 'The Satanic Bible' by Anton Lavey).
Something else was at work with this guy Cooper, call it providence, destiny, nature, the grand architect, Brahma, Allah whatever, as I said, Bill believed it was CRITICAL man believed in a higher power other than himself, that this power is available to all & always was whether anyone heard of the Bible or not, IF we're doing the right thing. Our confidence is being undermined on a daily basis as like never before & it's by design, what most people used to use get them through is being taken from them on our slow, but sure march towards a Godless socialistic one-world government/order.
Because Bill BELIEVED in what we call the God of the Bible, He played a significant part in this mans time on earth. I think God walks with all of us, & despite the Mysteries conscious attempts to negate, even exterminate His influence on earth, I believe He walks with them too, 'in de cool of de evening'......the fools! But if negation is the name of the game, we're afraid they've been beaten to it;
'So the last shall be first, & the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.......For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known & come abroad.'. - Jesus (King James Bible)
In another turn of curiousness, I recently heard Bill say he'd broadcasted in the early days not from Showlow in Arizona where he said he lived, but from St Johns in Arizona.
Keep the faith!
