I'd like to address a problem that's had me by the proverbials ever since I was a child, yet I refused to or couldn't see the forest for the trees with it all until lately, therefore I'd like to explore certain aspects of the most addictive of art forms. This observation of voodoo is made by Baigent & Leigh in 'Elixir & The Stone' (1997); 'To be possessed by a god or by a spirit is the ultimate objective of the voodoo ceremony. It is a mark of great favour, indicating that the god or spirit deems the individual a worthy receptacle or vessel for divine immanence.'

Within 2 years of the release of these legendary songs, both Hendrix & Morrison were found dead in mysterious circumstances, if we assume Morrison was found that is. Without question, 20th Cen popular music owes it's existence to voodoo & the mysterious rhythms the Africans (who for the most part were in chains), brought with them to the western hemisphere. The 'Blues' & it's cryptic symbology, certainly is derived from voodoo & the blues was the font from which 'Rock' & 'Soul' music sprang.
Whilst Rock music with all it's offshoots ended up a largely white affair, Soul, which gave rise to Disco was a predominantly black. This is just my take on it & I'm referring here to the 1950's & 60's or at least before the dawn of the 'Dance Era' in the 80's when things really went pear shaped & cultural boundaries completely obliterated. Rock/Pop/Soul music is American, & I was always impressed with the air of freedom flowing through American music & poetry, whatever the artists political or religious leanings. It's this striving for freedom, so evident in the artforms of these young men & women that the rest of us round the world tried so hard to replicate, albeit all the while, blissfully unaware of the guiding hand of the Hidden Masters.

In full agreement with Levi was another 19th Cen Magus, General Albert Pike; 'The devil is the personification of Atheism or Idolatry. For the Initiates, this is not a Person, but a Force, created for good, but which may serve for evil. It is the instrument of Liberty or Free Will. They represent this Force, which presides over the physical generation, under the mythological & horned form of the God Pan'
So according to these pagans, we have presiding over our corporeal bodies, generative principles, a fiery spirit named Lucifer or the devil. If much of the allurement of modern music is down to the sensuous rhythms of voodoo, & it is, it begs the question then of, is it these fiery spirits that's being evoked/invoked/erected even, when we writhe about with abandonment to this music? These Adepts suggest it is, & I'd tend to agree with them. Dance 'music' especially is meant to arouse us sexually, & lust, fornication, orgies etc have always played a huge part in the Mysteries; 'We are children of lust & we continue with lust. If one compiles a list of the top 10 best, influential & best selling artists of the 20th Cen I'd wager we'd find the following artists on nearly every list viewed as a credible source; Elvis, The Beatles, The Stones, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Oasis (joke), Led Zeppelin, The Beach Boys & Bob Dylan. The only 1 of that group I had any doubts about not having connections with the Mystery Schools was Jackson, but that was before I spent 10mins dabbling on the internet & now I'm not so sure.
(It would be hard to omit Bob Marley from that list admittedly but Marley's story fits in perfectly with what we're saying in any case)
The disproportionately early death rate associated with these acts compared to almost all other spheres of occupation is a well trodden path, however, as time goes by more & more pieces of info appear (possibly intentionally) to show that these deaths are anything, but the mere inevitable conclusions to a life of excess. Dave Macgowan (recently deceased) in his book 'Weird Scenes Inside the Canyon' has done a brilliant job in exposing the fact that most of the Hippie Movement's movers & shakers in the music scene were connected to the military. Alex Constantine in 'The Covert War Against Rock' & many others have uncovered many new aspects of the subject previously untapped, including the possibility that many of these stars may have been murdered. However I don't buy Constantine's theory of an all out 'covert war' on rock stars by the CIA. I'm more inclined to believe John Todd's black magic hypothesis for the reasons outlined above.
To what extent though were/are this motley crew under the aegis of the Mystery Schools? As stated, a simple perusal through the lyrics of the songs should be an indication, at least with some. John Lennon wrote; 'a garlic eating, stinking, little yellow greasy fascist bastard catholic Spaniard', referring to Jesus Christ in his satirical book 'A Spaniard In The Works' (1965). These are unusually vitriolic, anti Christian sentiments from a young man who had seemingly everything to lose by stating them, yet this was followed up a year later with his 'Christianity will vanish & shrink' quip. My guess is he was encouraged to do it & then it given the 'works' in the media, alls hip teenyboppers would have seen would be idiots jumping on Beatles records & arsehole Christian' DJ's egging them on.....all contrived if you ask me, especially when we consider it was the following year Lennon put Aleister Crowley's head on the front of Sgt Pepper, as did Morrison on the Doors album '13'...the number of death & resurrection & according to Bill, SACRIFICE.

In the 1967 freakshow 'Mondo Hollywood', it says the character in the film known as 'King Solomon' became tutor to Elvis. Devout Christian Elvis was also a devotee of Manly Hall when he wasn't at mass however, & Hall's 'Philosophical Research Center' where he delivered 1000's of lectures was but a stones throw as the crow flies from Laurel Canyon, where the Shepherd Kings of the Hippie Generation congregated to forward their message of love.
Who else? There's The Beach Boys & The Manson Family, there's Madonna & Led Zeppelin who we know about,
& there's the Rolling Stones, named after Hoochie Coochie man & voodoo lounge lizard king Muddy Waters. Following Lennon's lead (as they always did), the Stones called their 1967 album 'Their Satanic Majesties Request' so that just leaves Michael Jackson. I feel for him because I recognise in his idiosyncratic behaviour arrested development, Crowley disciple Jack Parsons did say this Aeon would be characterised by schizophrenia & infantilism..........
I know I've spent the last 40-odd years in fantasy land! Jackson, Morrison, Hendrix & Presley's behavior are to me evidence of disturbance, most probably emanating from their childhoods (to state the obvious), all 4 are well remembered for the gyration of their crotch (Freudian??, mind control victims?) in some fashion or another, their drug intake & personality disorders. These 4 & John Lennon were in my day, or possibly still are the most idolised men in the history of rock music. There's no escaping the fact moreover, that in acting a sexually explicit manner as these gentlemen regularly did (Lennon posed nude on on his '2 Virgins' album), they were literally at the forefront of the New Age concept of breaking down the old Christian taboo's of sexual inhibition.
Bill said it was all about race & religion. Elvis never wrote a hit record to my knowledge, could strum the guitar OK & was an excellent singer. Comparatively, Stevie Wonder writes all his own songs, produces them, sings excellently on them, sometimes plays all the instruments on them & he's been blind since childhood. If it's looks we're talking about Sam Cooke gets my vote every day & I'm not black or gay. Some say it's Elvis' voice, well to my ears he had nowhere near the range of Jackie Wilson, the soul of Otis Redding or the cool of Marvin Gaye. Yet this guy's the King of Rock & Roll? So there's something else at work here, Jackson remember said he was given the disease that made his skin turn white 'sometime after making Thriller'......without his knowledge.
Women are to be given the impression they are being 'liberated' according to Adam Weishaupt's Order. As to what his success rate is with the woman of today I'm not entirely sure, but at a glance I'd venture only a handful have managed to slip through the net although I hope I'm wrong. As I said, the pull of this music is incredibly strong, & I think it's true to say that females have always bought into this more than the male, sales-wise at least, but if there's any women out there can help me out on this, I've always wondered what emotions those young girls were going through when at Beatles concerts in the early 60's? Were they in fact watching footage of their families being slaughtered & not actually at the gig at all? Whenever I ask the wife about this I'm met with a frosty scowl, a kind of 'don't go there because I've been there!'.....Ah well. I don't mean to be disparaging towards ladies here, but the stereotypical image of a Rock Star for me is a young, potent male, strutting his stuff with his weapon of choice. He was the modern day Knight, classical hero, warrior type young males grew up imitating & wanting to be like. Nowadays it's usually a clean-cut footballer/athlete (i.e. competition-oriented) young men emulate.......What's wrong with the degenerative, bisexual, drug-addled, woman-hating, schizophrenic, drunk, devil worshipper with a death-wish of our day we ask?
Seriously though, according to the statistics, around 4 out 5 families on earth are living on less than £8 a day. It's in these poverty stricken areas that rock musicians are idolised/coveted the most, South/Central America for e.g. The escapism of this music is hard to er... escape for most but in those conditions it must be darn near impossible. I lost my father when I was 3yr old, so naturally I looked to my eldest brother (who slept in the bunk above me) as a role model. Like most teenagers he was heavily into music & would play it on a radio cassette player right next to my head every weekend morn so by the age of 7 I knew all the words to Black Sabbaths 'Iron Man'. The moral of the story being, had my father lived, neither of us would have been listening to Black Sabbath. Instead, I grew up idolising & emulating celebrated dysfunctionalists, as do billions who grow up in much worse conditions than we did.
Jim Morrison truly believed the Doors were being used by a force unbeknownst to him, that's why I believe Bill when he says 'magic is just the art of illusion', the Magi have been crafting the techniques of mind control (Alchemy) for millennia, this is a world they created, 'All the world’s a stage, & all the men & women merely players.......& so he plays his part' - Sir Francis Bacon (probably).
All this strangely enough adds up to another piece of the jigsaw in the plot to kill the God of the Bible.
We all know about the '27 Club', Lennon's fixation with the number 9 (2 + 7 =.........an issue for him before the deaths of Jones, Hendrix, Joplin, Morrison) but the lesser well known aspects of these people's demise begin to present a certain picture. For instance, according to Mick Jagger ex, Marianne Faithful, both Janis Joplin & Jim Morrison received their lethal dosages of heroin from her French Aristocrat lover Jean de Breteuil (dead also within months) & confessions connected with the deaths of Brian Jones & Jimi Hendrix have been publicly announced as murder recently, but again the 'confessors', Jones's caretaker & Hendrix's manager died shortly thereafter. Morrison was found dead 2yrs to the day Jones died, whose last public appearance with the Stones ended with the song, 'Sympathy For The Devil'.

'George Harrison possessed him'....'He saw George as a sorcerer & a devil'..... & that he had 'been sent on a mission by God to kill him'. There's God getting the blame again. Harrison died less than 2 years after the attack (same month as Bill Cooper), which must have hastened his demise so I'm counting the death of George Harrison as murder also.

The Baigent & Leigh (both deceased Freemasons) book to which I've been referring 'The Elixir & The Stone' traces the history of Hermeticism, or magic(k) as it's known to us, down the ages. Like the spells of voodoo, Hermetic science works through the use of formulae (voodoo merely being one of the forms in which Hermeticism has descended to us), what these formulae are I'll never know but judging from what Manly says it's probably through the computation of mathematics (calling on the gods) & probably through the use of words & letters (i.e. the Qabbala, Gnosticism etc). Elton John has publicly stated that he has never wrote a song that wasn't in the symbolic language of witchcraft.

Who was the 20th Cen's greatest exponent of these black arts? & why was he so revered by these Rock Stars? Who were/are these Rock Stars anyway? For that I'd refer the reader to Dave Macgowan's book, I haven't read it yet but I have read his blogs & seen his interviews. Macgowan traces most of the heads of the Hippie generation (in America) right to the door of the military, just as Bill traced the Church Of Satan to the military in his book. Hendrix was in the military, Morrison's father, an admiral, initiated the Vietnam War & Morrison's lyrics are replete with the symbology of the Mysteries, & not just voodoo either. Elvis was in the military for 2yrs in Germany just before the Beatles landed in Hamburg for their 2yr stint. ALL surviving Germans had been through a de-humanising 'De-Nazification' process post WW2 & Germany was heavily militarised with American, Canadian, British, French & God knows whose other military personnel were about, like Japan, Germany was to become an engine room for the New World Order, this is where the Beatles cut their teeth & Elvis remolded. When their German days were finished, the Beatles ended up at the propaganda arm of British Intelligence (the BBC) in 1962, where they remained for the rest of their sojourn as a band.
Curiously, Bill was in the military also & confessed to experiencing many of the same weird coincidences surrounding significant dates in his life etc, however, the way he exposed it tells me he was on our side.........I reckon a few of these Rock Star guys & gals tried to warn us what was going down as well, before the end.
Many Rock artists thought of themselves as a conduit through which a higher power may be made manifest, just as Alice Bailey & Madame Blavatsky did. John Lennon & Jim Morrison were 2 such people. Lennon stated, 'My joy is when you're like possessed, like a medium. If we speculate on an hypothetical top 10 of guitar innovators of the 20th Cen within the sphere of popular music for a moment, I'm darn sure these six guys would be on everyones list, maybe even on everyone's top 6; Eddie Lang (30), Robert Johnson (27), Charlie Christian (25), Django Reinhardt (43), Wes Montgomery (45) & Jimi Hendrix (27). The figure next their names is the age they never went beyond. They say the violin is the Devils instrument but I beg to differ, what normal teenager stands in front of a mirror pretending to be Nigel Kennedy? Nope, we all wanted to be the groovy axeman.
If we take our list at the beginning only, & establish that for the most part, the music is based on mesmerising voodoo rhythms, & the lyrics are of an occult, sometimes Qabbalistic nature, then we must surmise that these songs have acted as spells, cast on an industrial scale for 60yrs, generated with the aid of psychologists, philosophers, sociologists, witch doctors, film producers (Oliver Stone, Kenneth Anger), drugs, alcohol & so on. Does anyone remember the hopelessness felt when listening to a Doors album, only to be reinvigorated by the site of Jim? 'Before you slip into, unconsciousness, I'd like' (.....some of these songs are as disturbing as they are entertaining), then the stream of music would take over. Pop/Rock songs alone can reduce us to a blubbering mess, make us begin writhing like a snake (or an idiot), make the hair stand up on the back of our necks, momentarily make us wish or believe we were somebody else as they evoke, invoke even, emotions that can transport us to a long forgotten idyllic moment of our childhood.....what other art form has the power to do this?
Nowadays, most people are aware or at least unsurprised to learn that many of the pop/rock stars they idolised as a teen were into the occult. I'm not knocking anyone's religion really, be it Voodoo or Satanism or whatever, all's I'm attempting to do is to show how, through music, they are used to change (in the Alchemical sense as Jim says), manipulate & ultimately control the minds of the rabble, as Arthur E. Waite calls us, & in Rock 'N' Roll's case, seriously mess with our regenerative systems, as well as our hearts & minds. As stated at the beginning, this music is too embedded in my blood for me to reject it outright & nor should I, as it only began as the folk music of the immigrant Africans in the US, but like everything else worth mentioning in this world it's been taken & integrated into a well oiled machine & not in a good way. We all need something to fulfill that gaping hole in the soul & the boys from the 'Hit Factories' are only too happy to provide the HIT. I know it's only rock & roll...but I like it, so these days I take the precaution of listening to the lyrics, this seems to break the spell a bit & prevent me from being hooked, but each to their own as they say.
Ahhhhh just wanna say one last thing, why do people from the UK suddenly develop an American accent when they begin singing? Comparatively, what would it be like if John Lee Hooker sang his songs in a thick Australian dialect? Or Leonard Cohen sang his in a Highland Scots drawl? That's how absurd it's all beginning to appear to me. The worst culprit in my view is Sir Elton John, I'd like to know why he didn't sing 'Goodbye English Rose' in a cotton picking negro slave accent at Princess Diana's funeral?? Give it up Reg, you're a Pinner from Middlesex mate, not the Mississippi Delta, & you Bono, what do you mean.....'Martin Luther Keng, seng'? You're Oirish for feck sakes.
